Alright, billionaires, let me fix you.

giving billionaires a chance to change before society says it's too late...

Alright, billionaires, let me fix you.

If you have 500 million dollars or more in your net worth, you should absolutely be reading this article.

I do not know how much time you have to act. I only know that people are starving, more every year.

There is a reason that the masses are not vilifying Luigi Mangione.

Our brains are full of microplastics because of corporate lobbyists. Our tax dollars fund the execution of a literal genocide while our own children are gunned down by police, who exist only to protect the interests of the wealthy.

It’s not “if” there is a turn of the tides, it’s when.

And people like me will not stand up for you then, either. Because you know what you are doing. You are hoarding. You are stacking the deck systemically so that we have to fend off the literal end of our world, and you think there will never be any repercussions?

If you aren’t on the team—team humanity—then you are complicit.

If you are allowing the existence of starvation, when you could delete it, then you are more than complicit.

If you are driving up prices while people suffer at home.

If you are denying healthcare needs.

If you are doing what it takes to have billions of dollars: You are aware and you are responsible for your actions.

So here is how you fix it. Cuz right now there is a window, and you actually could make a big enough dent that you are not found complicit when the human rights tribunals begin.

(There WILL be human rights tribunals, you can bet on it.)

The first thing you do will be the most healing thing you ever do: Make all of your actions ethical.

That means your companies, holdings, etc? They all have to be ethical workplaces now. Everyone gets a living wage, healthcare, guaranteed housing one way or another.

The materials you use must be ethical too. You can afford it.

It is the easiest thing to do in the world. And people will hate you so much less. Just try it.

Next, you have to play a substantial role in the transition to a new, ethical system of living. You will pay people like me who actually understand ethics to lobby for this. While we work, you will call for consequences for everyone who tries to hold the world captive to the current system of oppression and starvation. You will bear witness to all the ills you have seen.

I am personally aligned to the global landback movement. I have no love for or faith in the colonial government which occupies the land.

From what I hear, we need to build systems outside the government where we all just support each other.

And because of the system you have constructed, this is now where you come in.

Everyone needs to be fed and have a home right now. I don’t care how you do it.

Make as much free as possible. Fund as many incredible programs as possible. I actually have one for you. It’s called Brunch. It is a free kitchen potluck party that supports the community in having fun, doing art, and taking a break from money. I’m happy to go into detail on how it could support artists, parents, chefs, and more in this interim where we’re still doing money.

(We COULD do something else, you know.)

So—food, housing, free clinics everywhere. Create opportunities for free education. For free public arts programs. For community togetherness.

And then there are the problems to address. Right now this calls for lots of research money and the attention of scientists currently being used to make someone else lots of money.

That’s their current focus. Literally.

Our entire focus has to shift right now. It is the way that we save everything.

Microplastics have to be addressed, both on internal and external levels. Climate change needs to be addressed. All forms of pollution.

There have to be scientific advancements that can help us mitigate the effects of all we’ve done to the planet, plus general reforestation, regrowth, cleansing of the environment.

To truly address climate change, we have to investigate the current operations of the war machine and meat industry.

There will have to be much education about this in order to convince people to be open to change.

Under this current structure, that also needs to be paid for.

Microplastics are not the only toxin in our bodies and there are definitely ways we should be able to flush a lot of this out. There must be a way to extract it.

There have to be ways to help in the healing of the ozone, of sifting trash from the ocean, of figuring out the whole “car” thing. (Tires we have to figure out, like, yesterday. Look up how much of ocean plastic is tires. It’s despicable.)

Oh, and billionaire? Get rid of your giant carbon footprint, obviously.

Ethical life, shithead. Live ethically.

If there’s still going to be money, inflation needs to be handled. Price gouging needs to be handled. Elders need to be able to be retired (ALL of them.)

All of this matters. I don’t care how it gets done.

Then, once all the needs are handled, fund the science that will make life better and the planet happier. There has to be a no-dirty-fuel form of longform travel. There’s no reason it can’t exist. Science is amazing.

Fund research for the diseases that don’t usually get it, and in antiquated fields, like “behavioral health”.

Fund research on the reigniting of eco-systems—and pay Indigenous experts for their very sacred expertise.

Fund research on plastic alternatives and normalize them, immediately, everywhere. Bring down the hammer on any of your current peers who try to resist this change.

Fund all kinds of educational and arts programs with any excess.

You really should be making as many lives better and easier as possible. That is truly the only real way to make amends.

You do not need more than 500 million dollars. I don’t really think you can argue needing more than even 50 million dollars at a time.

So billions?

If you are hoarding billions and you do not repent and redistribute, people have every right to hold you responsible for any and all harm caused. If you lobbied for or funded the politicians that got us to this place, then you caused the harm they caused.

(Fund an ethical magazine that actually reports all the real news. Fund the journalists who have long been fighting the good fight.)

Basically, at the end of the year, every year, you should aim to get your net worth down to an ethical number. And YOU are not meant to be the person running all these initiatives you’re funding. Oh no. That would be entirely the opposite of the point.

You are to be decentralizing your wealth and guaranteeing as many other people as possible a healthy peaceful existence.

I don’t see why you need to end the year with more than 50 million dollars max.

Even that… But come up with your own number.

Unless you want to hand it all to me. That I would TOTALLY do.

I would love to devise systems for you to fund, and to take submissions from others with their own systems for you to fund. That would be a great use of my energy and brainpower.

Do you comprehend how many billions you billionaires have? How much more it is than a million? A billion?

There is no reason that just a few—or even just one of you—couldn’t take care of the world’s problems.

I am totally here for transferring out of cash systems entirely. But for as long as we have one, these have been practical applications for the reintegration of hoarded wealth.

The way it is right now is not the way it will be forever. There is far too much unnecessary suffering and pain.

This is literally the moment to be on the right side of history.

Once the tide changes, there is no promise that you’ll ever have a chance at this moment again.

(Heal.)
